PASTOR JOHN COLLINS: MY rights as a Christian!

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS: GOD'S WRATH IS HERE

There has been an increase in the media about racism, taking down statues of the history of the United States because it offends some people, demonstrations by the KKK on college campuses, shootings across the nation which now include two church shootings, the most recent in Sutherland Springs,Texas  more addictions and crimes from drugs, the list goes on and on.  Pastor John Collins has preached it before and continues to preach the same thing:  it’s not about RACE, it’s about grace.  Grace of the living God.  Grace of the sacrifice of the man who is Jesus.  Grace that saves ALL of us from ourselves, yet we continue to choose to continue to cling tight and hard to the world that we live in.  We don’t or won’t let go of our love and passions that do not come from God.

IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP-PASTOR JOHN COLLINS

Are we paying attention to the unusually large hurricanes?  Are we noticing fires, floods, earthquakes in strange places, changes in weather?  Some do and say it’s “mother nature.” Some do and blame it on global warming.  Pastor John Collins has said it before and continues to say it over and over:  God is NOT happy with us.  The United States was meant to be the land of milk and honey for the Gentiles.  We’ve turned it into a land of greed and money, said also by Pastor John Collins.  When are we going to wake up?  When are we going to give in and recognize that there IS a living God, one who loves us unconditionally when all that is needed is to believe in Him?  Jesus preached over 2000 years ago that all it takes is a really small amount of faith, and God will take the rest in hand and teach us what we need to know.  We are so bent on being in control, in knowing everything, being right no matter what, and expecting immediate results when we do choose to pray.  God loves us, but He is darn sure disgusted with the way things are.

Pastor John Collins said:

“I find myself sitting here thinking out loud about society and its double standards and lack of reasoning and morals. I am going to strongly voice my opinion and will NOT engage in any comment war with anyone. Everyone has their right to opinion, so here is mine.

There are a lot of pastors on the pulpit preaching wrong. Not all pastors are wrong or bad, but many of them are. The ones that are NOT serving God are preaching hate and prosperity.

I have been called an outlaw preacher, a rebel preacher and many other names. Say whatever you want; however, I am God’s. I serve Him, NOT man!

We live in a country that was founded upon “In God We Trust”. Now, we have turned our backs on God, slapped him across the face and told him to leave!

We have all conformed to this world as the Bible has told us NOT to do by catering to sin. Those who are against sin, you are a racist, offensive, homophobic or violating peoples civil rights. What about MY rights as a Christian? Oh wait, that goes against society as well. If you follow God’s law, you are wrong in the human eye. Humans would rather you break God’s laws than man’s laws! What the hell is that all about!

The world is falling apart. God’s Wrath is here and it is going to get worse. People are more than willing to jump on any bandwagon that comes around. Meaning, we are so quick to join the latest fads, no matter how sinful they are.

The guy in South Carolina kills people inside of a church. There is no excuse for what he did, none! We blamed that on a flag? We took the flags off of the state capitols and out of some confederate cemeteries. On the other hand, radical Muslims are killing innocent children and adults. Do we ban their book? NO. Just like the flag, not all Muslims preach hate, nor support the ones that do. I have Muslim friends who are good people. I was born in the great state of North Carolina and I know a lot of people who have confederate flags. They were disgusted by what that moron did by shooting those innocent people in a church. Yet, we were more worried about a flag then we were about bringing in refugees. Now, again NOT all of the refugees are radical. However, what about the ones who are?

Some might say, why listen to me? I am a preacher who has been to prison. Yes I was, before I was a preacher. Many people have been to prison and then changed their lives. Also, many people in the Bible were imprisoned! If you have a problem with that, I pity you for judging. Unless you have walked in my shoes, you simply do not know who I am or what God has planned for me.

Our country is full of hate groups, for what reason? The New Black Panthers, the Nation of Islam, Radical Islam, some in Black Lives Matter, the KKK is still there as well as the White Supremacists, and David Duke is making headlines again.

This is not looking good for us Americans. If we do not work together and stop blaming each other, it’s over. We are right now, a country of hate. Not a country of God. We blame everyone but ourselves for what is going on.

Preachers use the bible to benefit themselves. To put money in their pockets and prosper off of God’s Word. This makes them sinful and those that follow, destined for hell. Politicians base their decisions by being politically correct because it is more popular and it is more beneficial to them. Heaven forbid we hurt some ones feelings by telling the truth.

I think that when Jesus was here, he could have cared less about being politically correct. Being politically correct will lead you to the pit of hell. If you decide that living by the flesh and all of its pleasures is your thing, good luck with that. When you close your eyes for the last time, just remember the word “oops”. That is what you will be saying as you are headed straight to hell.
The United States of America is united. Not by the love of God anymore, but by hate, greed, vanity, self-indulgence, to name a few. We are going to have to deal with God’s Wrath.

STOP blaming God and blame yourself. Turn it around, follow the bible, fellowship, and become a country of God once again.

It seems like everyone wants to fight for a cause. What better cause is there than to fight for God.

LOVE THAT CROSS, PASTOR JOHN

We are here by the grace of God.  Do we want to fight with each other, or do we want to be warriors for God?  We can make a choice to serve Him or serve ourselves.  One second after we die, it’s too late to change a blame thing in our lives that could have made a difference.  Preying on others’ weaknesses, taking advantage of those who have nothing, lying, greed, theft, anger, resentment, envy….all of it won’t get us into Heaven.  Yes, life is hard, yes, life hurts.  How we get through the harsh and the hurt is our choice:  we can either do it “on our own” or we can totally submit and give it to God.  Jesus will help us, but we have to first make our own sacrifice and give up the things that aren’t God’s.
As Pastor John Collins says, God’s Wrath is here.  It’s not getting any better; it’s been two years since the North Carolina shooting and now there’s been another in Texas.  What’s changed in the United States?  What’s changed in your life?  The time is now to make that change.

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist: Going to church on Sunday doesn't make you a Christian

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST: REVIVAL OF HOPE

This country needs HOPE. Where did our hope go?  What happened to it?

There is an epidemic of violence, continuing issues of racism, younger and younger people becoming addicted to drugs, domestic violence, child kidnappings…..all of this is drowning the United States in a wave of hopelessness.  That hopelessness is coming from the deliberate choice of the society of the United States in general turning its back on God and His Son Jesus. Those who are Christians and were once addicts and alcoholics, or those who have lost everything but their lives hitting rock bottom, all who have turned their lives around will flat out attest to the HOPE that can be found in giving it all up to Jesus. Surrendering it ALL.  Jesus IS Hope.  His death on the Cross gave us the Hope for eternal life, and He gave us Hope to be able to endure the day to day pain and struggle that we deal with here that is life as a human being.  Evangelist Pastor John Collins has based the ministry Love That Cross on Hope.

Pastor John Collins began Love That Cross Ministries with a focus on revival.

It began in Wheatland, Wyoming and spread across the country.  Revival of faith, revival of Christianity, not religion, but the revival of the HOPE that comes from acknowledging Jesus as a savior of mankind, ALL of us, is the central purpose of Love That Cross Ministry and Revival.  Without Jesus, there is no Hope.  The sorrow, the sadness, the pain, the anger, the violence that comes with living in the world today seems unbearable.  Pastor John preaches that it IS possible to have HOPE.  That hope is submitting all to the love that is Jesus and God.

Who took our hope away

To some degree, we have willingly given it away through political correctness, fear, trends of society.  We as Christians allowed men to “interject their will upon the people and Christianity has suffered. Religion will get you nowhere if you are complying with the traditions of men while ignoring the commandments of God, “says Pastor John.

Knowing Jesus, allowing Him into your heart, having faith in Him to help carry us through a day has been twisted into canned sermons and litanies, false doctrines meant to sell a product rather than to save souls, or even lukewarm “God loves everyone, so be happy” attitudes:  all meant to keep people sitting in a pew on a Sunday, but not meant to stir the heart or the soul into repentance.  Pastor John Collins calls a spade a spade. Faith is meant to save souls, to guide lives toward righteousness and to keep hope alive. Faith is meant to carry you through the tough times and to help you get to heaven. Churches continue with their traditions and doctrines that man has implemented; people continue attending them because they are comforted by the familiar.  That comfort is not providing a growing population in heaven. It is time to step out of that comfort zone and wake up.

People have got to wake up and see that Christianity is broken and needs truth and healing. People need to turn away from the glitter and the traditions that have them going through the motions of worship only to leave them without the tools to apply the gospel to their lives in any real way.  When was the last time you could recall details about a sermon given on a Sunday all the way through a week until the next service, or even a month or more after it was spoken?  THOSE sermons are the ones that have touched a heart, sparked a soul, moved someone to think about and reconsider what they are doing in their lives.  THOSE sermons make us, all sinners, wonder about whether we really are heading to heaven by saying we are Christian, or if we have work to do.  Looking at the society in which we live, it’s a pretty good indication that we all have work to do.  Not enough people know that there is a God or that Jesus even exists, not to mention those of us who profess to be Christian on Sunday but walk past the woman on the sidewalk on Tuesday who simply needs a meal or help off of the street into safety. There is a lot of work to be done.  Pastor John calls it as it is:  we HAVE turned from God as a nation and slapped Him away from our homes, families, children, our hearts. The time is NOW, and God WILL help us REVIVE our faith, IF we turn to Him and His Son Jesus.

God is waiting and willing to help us come to learn the truth and to embrace that truth. People must be willing to want that honest relationship that genuine faith provides.  We can’t continue to lie to ourselves that we can wait for another day.  We are NOT guaranteed tomorrow.  Only God knows just how long we have to work on our souls and our redemption.  We CAN’T wait.  It will be too late when we die, get there, and then go “Oops” because we didn’t do anything to help ourselves, even though help was available.  We no longer believe that God is paying attention nor do we believe whole-heartedly that He will intervene in our lives directly. Oh, we say we do, but it is obvious in our lack of obedience that we do not fear any real repercussions from God. We do NOT respect or revere God.  We do not fear Him.

Jesus does offer salvation to us for free. Yet, He Himself has demanded that we repent, sin no more, and that we obey His commandments. He also said for us to fear Him who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell. Do we take Him seriously and adjust our behavior accordingly or are we just banking on that price being paid and going about our lives with evil hearts and evil minds acting in evil ways and speaking evil words? Think about the standard that is set by Jesus. Think about the requirements of our faith. We cannot just say that we believe. We must believe so strongly that we are moved to change our ways. Remember the young man who was obedient to the law and yet was told by Jesus to sell all and give to the poor and follow when he asked what must he do to have eternal life? We cannot do some. We must do all. If you are not doing all that the Lord has commanded you cannot be assured of claiming the salvation He offers.

Begin again by coming to truly fear God. Renew your faith by refocusing your priorities in life. Claim your salvation by a belief that is so strong you know that nothing else in your life matters in comparison. That is saving faith. Know that no matter what amount of faith and obedience you have today, you can always and should always seek more.  That is the faith that will give us HOPE.

“God is never secondary in my life, He is always Primary”- Pastor John Collins.

Montana Evangelist, Pastor John Collins: God's Stamp of Approval?

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist: Reviving Faith in Montana, One Church at a Time

In a revival series that was launched in fall, 2016, Pastor John Collins continues to spread the word of God, redeeming the Gospel, across the United States.  This blog post reviews excerpts from the revival tour as it traveled across Montana.

Pastor John Collins is a leading evangelist in the United States today.

His vibrant, no nonsense style of preaching brings the Word of God, the teachings of Jesus to life.  He reaches the hearts of those who hear him.

Pastor John Collins strives to bring God back to the United States.

He often preaches that we as a country turned our backs to God, one person at a time, one church at a time.  It’s time to change that and bring God back into our lives, to bring hope to ourselves and to our country, one person at a time, one church at a time.  Through our own choices to serve our own will, not God’s, we as a whole have turned away from God.  The result is that our country is in the turmoil it is in now.  As the Holy Bible says, if we turn back to God with all our hearts and cry out to Him, He will hear our plea and heal our country.  More than ever, we need God.  Pastor John Collins is answering his call by God to bring the gospel to as many people as he can reach with the words that he preaches.

Pastor John Collins says:

It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’  Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.”  John 6:45 (NKJV).

The teachings of Jesus were insightful and revealed the heart of the law.  He came with miracles and truth and compassion and mercy.  He came with clarity and sadness for the people.  It is sad to see people refuse to get right with God, to see people rebel in their hearts and choose their own will over God’s will.

It is sad to watch people choose to be sinners and choose to harm others to lift themselves up.  Believe me, there is still plenty today for Jesus to weep over.

Our world is filled with people choosing to self-govern and claim rational thought for themselves and believing that there is no God, that their own moral code will sustain them and see them through this life and that there is no cause to concern themselves with an eternal life.  There are people on the pulpits sharing the good news without teaching the requirements of being a follower of Christ.  There are stubborn people who choose to believe that there is not a right or a wrong way to worship God and that we get to self-determine our God and how we navigate our faith in our life and have concluded that by doing so we will enjoy the outcome that we have decided upon.  It doesn’t work that way!  God came and gave instructions on how to worship Him.  Jesus came and gave insight into the law and gave instructions on how to worship Him.  Nothing has changed.

Grace is given and faith is free but obedience is required to claim them.  You cannot claim to be a person of faith and have fellowship with God when you are living a life of selfishness and unfaithfulness.  If you are a greedy, lying, cheating, vain, malicious, gossiper and drunk then you are not obeying God.  If you are full of bitterness and resentment and refuse to forgive those who you believe have done you wrong then you are not in obedience with God.  If you are consumed with materialism and are obsessed with your looks and your appearance then you are not in obedience with God.  If you are abusing drugs and your body and are not a believer then you are not in obedience with God.  If you are not in obedience with God then you will not see the kingdom of heaven when you die.  It really is that simple.

You must obey God to claim the gifts of God.  Salvation is claimed by those who believe because those who believe will submit to the will of God and will obey God.  I am not talking about casual belief but the belief that produces results in a life, belief that produces change and purity in a life and belief that transforms a life of darkness into one of light.  There is always an opportunity to truly claim Jesus as your savior, not in word only but in truth.  You know whether your life is truly a life that would have God’s stamp of approval and there is just no reason to live in denial.  There is not any time to waste on self-indulgence and sin.  It is time to examine your existence and if you are not right with God then it is time to get right with Him.  Believe in the Son and claim salvation.

I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”  John 15:5-6 (NKJV).  PASTOR JOHN

Where do we want to spend eternity?  Then we need to listen and hear what Pastor John Collins preaches about obedience to God.  The road to destruction is wide, but the road to heaven and salvation is narrow as it says in the book of Matthew.  The United States has been traveling the wide road to destruction for a long time, turning our backs upon God and all the blessings that He gave us when this country was founded.  We need to claim salvation for ourselves, to hear the word of God, to read the works of Jesus and the messages in the Holy Bible in order to gain back the blessings that were ours as a country, and ours as individuals.  What does God want from you?  Simple-talk to Him in prayer and start reading a good translation of the Holy Bible that does not twist the Gospel to suit the purposes of the writer or confuse the reader with what is called transliteration-man’s explanation, not God’s inspired words.   God wants us back.
